When you contribute as a Patron Member of the festival, your gift directly supports the daily operations of the company.

Anyone who has ever worked on a play knows that an enormous amount of energy goes into every aspect of the production. At Blyth, we pay great attention to detail in all of our production departments – wardrobe, props, carpentry, scenic art, lighting and sound. Our team of technicians and artists can easily put 3000 hours of work into a single production. When the lights come up and the actors hit the stage, our members can look on with satisfaction at every detail, knowing that their support made it all happen.

It’s important to remember that this work is supported by a full-time administrative staff. Throughout the winter months, when Blyth isn’t quite as alluring as it is in July, our dedicated team works to raise funds, build a marketing plan, create special events and lay the framework for a successful season ahead. Though it’s less visible, this crucial element of the theatre is every bit as vital as the sound and spectacle on stage. And it’s thanks to you that it all happens.
