SEATING & TICKET POLICIES

Children’s Tickets
Babes in arms will not be admitted into a performance at the Blyth Memorial Hall during the summer season. All other children must have a ticket to enter the auditorium. Please note: the nature of Blyth Festival summer programming is primarily for mature audiences. Please ask for further information at the Box Office when choosing to bring young children.
Reservations for Hearing Assisted Devices
Throughout the summer, there are hearing devices available at the box office on a first-come, first-serve basis for the hearing impaired. There is a form requiring the name, phone number and seat number of the patron using the device. Patrons are required to return the device to the Front of House Manager following the performance.
Latecomers
Latecomers will be admitted at the discretion of the House Manager. There is no guarantee that latecomers will be seated. To avoid disappointment, arrive at least 30 minutes prior to curtain. No refunds will be issued to latecomers who are not seated.

Surcharges & Service Charges

General Service Charges
For all sales for Blyth Festival productions and presentations, a general service charge or handling fee of $4.00 is charged per ticket order for all telephone orders, counter orders, mail orders or Internet orders. This fee is used to help offset general box office expenses including staffing, telephones, Box Office supplies, ticket stock, computers and Theatre Manager expenses.
Group Orders
There is a $7.00 handling fee on all group orders – discounted tickets ordered in quantities of 12 or more. A 15% refundable deposit is required for all processing of group ticket orders with final payment required 4 weeks prior to performance. Deposit will not be refunded 30 days prior to performance.

Payment Policies

Blyth Festival Box Office accepts payment by credit card, cash, cheque and Debit Card.

Cheques
The Box Office accepts payment for tickets by the use of personal or company cheque for telephone orders, mail orders, and over the counter orders. If the patron places a telephone order and wants to make payment by cheque, unpaid tickets will be held up to 7 days while waiting for arrival of the cheque. Tickets will be printed and mailed as soon as the cheque has been deposited in the bank - otherwise they will be released.
Wheelchair Reservations
Ticket reservations for wheelchair seats are made on a first-come, first-served basis. There are two specific wheelchair locations within the theatre - A9 and A19.
Internet Reservations
The theatre has a web portal, tickets.blythfestival.com that currently allows patrons to purchase tickets online.
Refunds
All ticket sales are final – no refunds.
Exchange Policy
Ticket exchanges must be arranged during regular Box Office hours. Patrons may exchange their tickets for another date (subject to availability) if the request is made at least 48 hours prior to the performance. If an alternate date is not available, patrons may choose to return the tickets for a tax-deductible donation of their value to Blyth Festival. No tickets will be exchanged if they were issued as complimentary tickets. Exchange fee $3.00 per ticket. Members may exchange their tickets free of charge.
